Recruitment resources

Looking to boost your recruitment?

This page is here to help you. Please use the below Do Something Big campaign tips, messaging and ready-to-go assets to add to your own recruitment activity.

Advertising your jobs

The Do Something Big campaign brings jobseekers to our website, where they can easily click through to the Find a Job vacancies page. By posting your jobs there, you’ll be putting your roles in front of people who are excited to kickstart a career in early years.

How to post a job advert on Find a Job

We’ve teamed up with DWP’s free job advertising platform, where you can easily add your vacancies. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Head to the Employer | Advertise your jobs website.

2. Create or sign in to your account. It can take up to 2 working days for DWP to approve your account.

3. Choose ‘Education’ as your company type and provide as much information as possible to help the verification process.

4. Fill in the job details. Complete each section with the relevant job information. Ensure you include the term ‘early years’ in the job title for better visibility. And then select ‘Education jobs’ for the job category.

5. Once all fields are completed, click ‘Post Job’ at the bottom of the page. Your job vacancy will go live for 30 days but can be re-posted if you need to extend it.

Visit Employer help and advice if you need any further support.

For apprenticeship adverts, you can also use the Creating an apprenticeship advert as an employer – GOV.UK guide.
